So as I got to work this morning I eagerly awaited the notice in iTunes telling me that there was an update available. No such notice arrived until 19:30. I should’ve known I would have wait for post 9am PST.
Hey ho. It’s here now and it is working. The phone didn’t get bricked, thankfully.
I have already used the copy and paste several times. Yay! I have to wait until Friday to be able to use the MMS feature. But as I gave email locally I rarely find myself wanting to use it either. As for the tethering that will be a chargeable extra, one which I doubt I will use.
The search feature is pretty cool too. So overall quite happy thus far, as mist of my apps work with os 3.0
