It has been a long year, with it set to be a slow last 3 months before Christmas. Work is piling up. Joy!

Several exciting things have happened in the last 12 months:

  1. I was accepted into the HTTPD PMC
  2. I was made a member of the ASF
  3. We got a new, awesome car
  4. I got “accepted” into to the ASF Infra team, even though I am Windows bloke.
  5. I got an oyster card
  6. I moved my server and services to slicehost
  7. I rediscovered my love for badminton
Not sure I can think of much else, but here’s hoping the next 12 months bring some new challenges and exciting times.

Impington Badminton Club is looking for new players all the time, age and skills vary but you must be of a good standard, i.e. not need lessons to play.

Last night I must have played about 8 games in 2 hours.  I was thorougly knackered by the time I got home. This morning, however, I have re-discovered muscles I had forgotten about, I know they are there because they are aching like no ones business.

I dont know why I stopped playing really, I guess it’s because my job overtook my personal life and I found less and less time. Now though, I have made a consciense decision to curb that.
