<p>I have just succumbed to using flickr to host my images.  I used to host them in a gallery on <a href="http://www.pc-tony.com/">www.pc-tony.com</a> but that got painful.  So I have, somewhat late I might add, joined the flickr bandwagon.</p>
<p>I have even paid for their pro service.  So far I am pretty impressed.  The <em>Flickr uploadr</em> works well enough, even allowing me to work off line (for most tasks) so I can sift through my images on the train and then use the big pipe in the office to do the uploading of hundreds of megabytes of images.</p>
<p>I have also added a flickr badge to <a href="http://www.pc-tony.com/">www.pc-tony.com</a>. Looks nice.</p>

<p>I have just created a new flickr photo group called <strong>Apache &#8211; Social</strong>.</p>
<p>This is to allow people from the ASF to share photos of any get togethers whether it be from a social gathering at an official ASF event, or from an impromptu meet-up organised on party@</p>
<p>I have added a few photos already, from a catch up last year with noodl, and jink. Surely others must have some they are happy to share.</p>
